Tax Deputy Manager (Corporate Tax)

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead a diverse team of talent with complete accountability for delivering on client engagements, with opportunities for career advancement and professional growth.

• Serve as the direct contact point and be responsible for providing a range of tax services to clients, including tax compliance, advisory, health-check, pre-tax audit reviews, tax audit support, and accounting services if required.

• Oversee and manage service quality, ensuring compliance and accuracy, while directly contributing to clients‘ business success.

• Provide advice on tax risks and suggest solutions to mitigate tax risks/tax expenses on tax-related matters.

• Identify and provide necessary advice for clients by staying current with changes in tax legislation and regulations.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and identifying opportunities for additional consulting services.

• Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

• Leverage your expertise in a specialization and your reputation as a trusted business advisor.

• Drive process improvements across all service processes, leveraging available resources and best practices to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.

• Attend internal ad-hoc projects if required by Partners or Head of Divisions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Auditing, or related fields.

• At least 4 years of relevant work experience in Tax field.

• Tax Practicing Certificate or ACCA/ICAEW/ Vietnamese or foreign CPA is preferred.

• Knowledge of Tax practices and procedures.

• Knowledge of Vietnamese tax and regulations.

• Managerial skills with the ability to manage compliance process and compliance staff.

• Strong interpersonal skills are essential together with proven people development skills to support the development of the more junior staff.

• Demonstrate strong social/ verbal/ written communication skills, collaboration, and interpersonal skill.

• Have good understanding others to build strong relationship within the organization.

• Demonstrate independence, problem solving skills.

• Show excellent ability to multi-task and prioritize work.

• Show ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.

• Be proactive and results oriented.

• Fluent English language (speaking, listening, reading and writing) in social and business communication at a minimum Business Level.

• Vietnamese nationality.
